    Former Hopkins School Board

I am proud to endorse Sara Wilhelm Garbers, Rachel Hartland, and Tim Molepske for Hopkins School Board!

Twenty years ago this November, I was first elected to the Hopkins School Board. During the 12 years that I served, our District faced many challenging times and many occasions for celebration. Serving for those three terms, I had the privilege of walking alongside some incredible public servants who helped me identify the qualities of an effective school board member. I learned what it truly takes to work collaboratively for the benefit of all students: curiosity, compassion, humility, commitment, critical thinking, accountability, integrity, advocacy. Serving this community requires people who can adapt, learn, and communicate well. I see these qualities in Sara, Rachel, and Tim! I believe they are well positioned to address a wide range of topics from budget to test scores; from cultural proficiency to political advocacy. They are forward-thinking, cooperative, and ready to do this important work.

This District is my home. I was raised here, and now we are raising our kids here, too. I care deeply about the future of our community and all of our children. That's why I'm voting for Sara, Rachel, and Tim! I hope you will join me!

I’m writing to share my enthusiastic support for Tim Molepske for Hopkins School Board.

I first met Tim when our sons played baseball together with Hopkins Area Little League. Later, he coached our daughters' team. Whether as a fellow parent or a coach, Tim has always shown up with dedication, energy, and a genuine care for kids. He leads with purpose and puts relationships and teamwork at the center of everything he does.

I know Tim will bring that same thoughtful, steady leadership to the school board. He listens, he prepares, and he acts with integrity. Most importantly, he will always do what’s best for students and families in our district.

We need people like Tim serving our schools—people who care deeply about our community and are willing to work hard to protect and improve it.

Please join me in voting for Tim Molepske for Hopkins School Board.

    Sincerely,

    Kim Stanek

  • Joey Kerber

    Joey Kerber

    Hopkins Area Little League President

Having seen Tim’s work for kids in the Hopkins community firsthand over the last 5+ years, I’m thrilled about the idea of having him serve on the School Board.

As Hopkins Area Little League’s President, I’ve seen Tim solve unique community issues with creativity and effort. As a coach, he planned practices that were tailored for his specific players’ development in the game, whether they were All Stars or brand new to baseball. When we needed help with a way to resolve ties without keeping young kids up later to play extra innings, Tim created a tiebreaker system that has now become a beloved part of our postseason tournament.

I’ve seen Tim’s passion for the community through scouting. As a leader, he has helped many busy families, including my own, participate in well-organized and well-communicated processes and events.

The work and approach I’ve seen from Tim in his community involvement has ultimately benefited the very families and students he now seeks to serve in an even greater capacity.  We’d be lucky to have to him, and he has my support.
